- The [Spine Corner Forming] function is available only when Folding Unit FD-504 is installed on this ma-
chine.
- The [2-Side Slitting] function is available only when Trimmer Unit TU-503 is installed on this machine.
- The [Crease] function is available only when Creaser Unit CR-101 is installed on this machine.
Fold & Staple Settings
[Crease] Off, On Adds creases to fold paper, prevent-
ing toner flaking from occurring at the
time of paper folding. Specify wheth-
er to enable creasing.
Crease Side: Front
Crease Side: Back Specify the crease side.
[Crease Settings] - Specify the crease details.

[Number of Center Staples] 2 Positions, 4 Positions Set the number of staples to 2 posi-
tions or 4 positions. However, 4 Posi-
tions is available only for the
following paper sizes: A3, A3W,

[Spine Corner Forming] Off, On Applies pressure to the spine of the
folded & stapled booklet, and forms a
spine corner.
[Spine Corner Forming
Strength] -2 to +2 Specify the strength to press the
spine when forming a spine corner.
