If this machine is equipped with Saddle Stitcher SD-513 and Creaser Unit CR-101 , Trimmer Unit TU-503 ]
or Folding Unit FD-504 with Perfect Bind selected, the [PB] tab is displayed.
Function Name Option Description
[Cover Crease] [Off]], [Spine], [Gutter],
[Spine + Gutter] Adds fold lines (creases) on the per-
fect bind cover.
Selecting [Spine] adds creases at two
folding positions of the spine.
Selecting [Gutter] adds creases at
two positions on the gutter of the
front cover and the back cover, mak-
ing bound pages easier to flip. A
crease is added only on [Back].
Selecting [Spine + Gutter] adds
creases at two positions on each of
the spine and gutter.
[Cover 2-Side Slitting] Off, On Trims the top and bottom of paper in
the paper feeding direction of the
cover, and aligns the paper size.
[Top Slitting] 8.0 to 26.0 (mm) Specify the slitting at the top in the
paper feeding direction of the cover.
