5.15 [Saddle Stitcher Adjustment] - [Staple Offset Adjustment]
Adjust staple position in Saddle Stitcher SD-513 . The misalignment between the staples and the fold can
be reduced.

Press [Adjustment] on the Machine Screen to display the Adjustment Menu Screen.

Display the Staple Offset Adjustment Screen.
% In bizhub PRESS 1250/1250P/1052 , press [02 Finisher Adjustment], [08 Saddle Stitcher Adjust-
ment], and [14 Staple Offset Adjustment] in sequence.
% In bizhub PRESS C1070/C1070P/C1060/C71hc , press [04 Finisher Adjustment], [04 Saddle
Stitcher Adjustment], and [14 Staple Offset Adjustment] in sequence.
% In bizhub PRESS C1100/C1085 , press [03 Finisher Adjustment], [04 Saddle Stitcher Adjustment],
and [14 Staple Offset Adjustment] in sequence.

Press [Print Mode].

Load 11 e 17 (A3) w paper into a tray, then select that tray key.

Press Start on the control panel . A sample pattern will be output.

Measure the difference (a) between the fold position and staples.
Allowance: a = ^ 1 mm

Exit the print mode to return to the Staple Offset Adjustment Screen.
% In bizhub PRESS 1250/1250P/1052 , press [Close].

In bizhub PRESS C1070/C1070P/C1060/C71hc or bizhub PRESS C1100/C1085 , press [Exit
PrintMode].

If adjustment is required, use the touch panel keypad or control panel keypad to enter the setting data.
% Adjustable range:-10 (To move leftward) to +10 (To move rightward) (1 step = 0.1 mm)

Use [+<->-] to specify the value to be positive or negative.

Press [Set] to change the current data.

Repeat the steps from 3 to 9 until the desired result is obtained.

Press [Return] to restore the Saddle Stitcher Adjustment Menu Screen.
