Light System with mLB and 1 Ceiling Tube
In the case of the marLED® X, all bus subscribers are galvanically isolated. In order to maintain this galvanic
isolation, it is absolutely necessary that on the DIP switch S1, see Fig. 5-1, DIP 2, 3 and 4 are open (
OFF
).
Possible error in case of external insulation monitoring
If DIP 2, 3 and 4 are not set to
OFF
, malfunctions can occur in case of external insulation monitoring.

If one ceiling tube supports more than 2 lights, 2 RJ45 cables must be connected as follows:
The cable for the lights 1 and 2 to X1, the other cable to X2.
X4 (
PANEL
) can be optionally used for connecting a marTouch® Pro control unit, while X5 (
INTERFACE
)
permits connecting up to 2 COM interfaces to the marLED® board of the first ceiling tube.
* OR1 stands for any external system that communicates correctly with the COM interfaces by
Gebrüder Martin via RS232.
