Hardware Lock-link Installation (U3021-60005)

If your system is to be rack mounted, this installation procedure does not have
to be performed.

The opening of covers or removal of parts is likely to expose the user to

dangerous voltages. Disconnect the instrument from all voltage

sources before being opened.

Locking the Test Set to the PNA or PNA-X

The lock-link kit (U3021-60005) includes the following components:

0515-1619 - Screw T20 M4x0.7 25 mm

—

0515-2317 - Screw T15 M3.5x0.6 12 mm

—

5023-0132 - Lock-links kit (left, right pair and screws), Analyzer

—

N5242-20206 - Right Lock-link, Test Set

—

N5242-20207 - Left Lock-link, Test Set

Remove the feet from the bottom of the analyzer.

Remove the 2 lower standoffs from the rear panel on the analyzer using a

T20 Torx driver.
