2. Start Up
Please refer to the Quick Start Guide for installation and wiring of the system.
After the devices are installed, configure parameters and functions through the web client. Please ensure
the mutual network communication between the cameras and the PC before configuring.
Note: You are responsible for risks of accessing cameras to the Internet, including but not limited to
possible cyber-attack, hacking attack, virus infection and etc. This company is not responsible for
the product failures and information disclosure caused thereby, but will provide timely technical
support for the cameras.
Requirements of PC for installing the client of IPC4X5 series:
Processor: 3.3 GHz CORE®i3 series and later version or other equivalent processors
RAM Memory: 4GB or above
Operating System: Windows 7 or higher versions
Browser: Browser (32 bits): 360 browser, IE11.0 or newer, Firefox (51.0 and lower versions), Google
Chrome (41.0 and lower versions)
DirectX: 9.0 C
Requirements of PC for installing the client of IPC489 series:
Processor: CORE®i5-7500 and higher
Display Card: HD-630 GPU or above
RAM Memory: 8GB or above
Operating System: Windows 7 or higher version
Browser (32 bits): 360 browser, IE11.0 or newer, Firefox (51.0 and lower versions), Google Chrome
(41.0 and lower versions)

2.1 Activate Camera
When the camera is first used, user should activate it and set the login password for normal use.
There are 2 methods to activate the camera: though IPCSearch or through browser.
Activate through IPCSearch
a)
Get IPCSearch from our website (https://www.kedacom.com/cn/softtools/index.jhtml) and
install it according to the prompts.
b)
After finishing installation, open IPCsearch and the system will search the cameras in LAN and
display the list as shown below.
