MIN
0.00 m3/h
Low Limit
comparison: measuring value < limit
O23
The comparison will take the sign
into consideration!
Example: Input -10.0.
The limit will be exceeded by a measured value
of -11.0 m3/h or -22.5 m3/h. The relay
won't
switch if, for instance, the measured value
amounts to -9.9 m3/h.
QUANTIT
Y
0.00 m3
Quantity Limit
comparison: total flow quantity
≥
limit
O24
FLUXUS counts the total flow quanti-
ties for positive and negative flow
direction separately, provided that
the totaliser function is activated
(Display O3)
.
The input of a
positive
limit means that there
will be a comparison with the total flow quantity
for positive flow direction.
The input of a
negative
limit means that there
will be a comparison between the limit and the
total flow quantity for negative flow direction
(opposite direction as shown through the
engraved arrow on the transducers).
The comparison will also be made if the total
flow quantity of the other flow direction has
been selected for indication (Display M8).
Note:
During measurement, the limit values will always be interpreted in terms of the unit of
measurement selected at the time.
The limit value stays the same if the quantity
and/or unit of measurement is changed.
(
Example: Enter a limit value of 60.0 m3/h. Then change the unit
of measurement to m3/min.)
If necessary, adjust the limit values to the altered unit of
measurement. (60.0 m3
/h
= 1.0 m3
/min
)
Apparent delays when switching alarm outputs
FLUXUS rounds the measured value and total quantity of flow up or down with a precision
of two decimal places behind the comma, before they are displayed.
However, FLUXUS
compares the limits with the unrounded values.
It might appear as if there is a switching
delay of the output, especially when extremely small changes of the measured value take
place (smaller than the equivalent of two decimal places behind the comma).
In these
cases, the accuracy of the output switching is higher than the one for the displayed values.
Cold Start
INIT
B R K
After a cold start, all alarm outputs are initialised by this key combination.
The outputs will
have the following state:
FUNC: NONE
TYPE:
NON
HOLDING
MODE:
NO
Contact
LIMIT:
0.00
Disabling of alarm outputs
If you have programmed on or more alarm outputs, and decide, that you no longer require
them, they can be disabled. The unit will remember the previously set values.
>NO< yes
Alarm Output
O20
Disable the alarm outputs by selecting NO in
display 'Alarm Output' in program branch
OPT.
