10. After the required time has elapsed, the high-pressure pump
switches off.
NOTE
The procedure can be interrupted by pressing the
"Stop" button (49/8).
11. Turn the valve levers V12 and V10 into the vertical position
(close).
12. Connect the chemicals drain hose, 3 m to the connection (50/11)
and drain suitably.
13. Turn the valve lever V15 (50/10) into the horizontal position
(open).

The cleaning tank is emptied via the
chemicals drain hose.
WARNING
Dispose of the chemical solution according to the
national regulations.
14. Disconnect industrial and drinking water hoses from the cleaning
tank.
15. Open the cleaning tank and wash it out with cleaning water to
remove any remaining chemical solution.
16. Operate the system for 30 minutes and discard the water, mean-
ing, do not use the water at the drinking water outlet as drinking
water in this period.
3.3.2
Disinfection after Contamination or Continuous Operation with Biologically-polluted
Untreated Water
During this disinfecting procedure the entire system including the raw
water pump and preliminary filter unit are disinfected. Depending on
the untreated water, this procedure is useful to reduce the biological
strain on the system in continuous operation. The biological strain can
be detected by the formation of a (slimy) bio-film in the untreated wa-
ter area.
1.
Fill the external container (at least approx. 200 l volume) with
drinking water.
2.
Add disinfecting chemicals to the container according to Table 1,
page 49.
3.
Place the raw water pump in the external container.
4.
Place the concentrate hose and drinking water hose in the exter-
nal container.
5.
Turn the selector switch "Program" (49/12) to "Hand" and press
luminous "Start" button (49/11).
6.
Switch the system off after 30 minutes by pressing the button
"Stop" (49/8).
7.
Then carry out the standard disinfection according to Sec-
tion 3.3.1.
WARNING All hoses, pipes and storage vessels coming into
contact with the drinking water should be disin-
fected before use.
