WATERCLEAN 1600
- 16 -
Cleaning/Disinfecting/Pre-
serving/Protecting against
Frost
The cleaning tank (3/29) in the RO module is filled with water, and a
cleaning agent, disinfectant or anti-freeze is added according to the
working procedure to be carried out.
The fluid flows from the cleaning tank via the valve V12 (3/31) to the
inlet of the high-pressure pump units. These pump the fluid through
the membrane filters and the parts of the system involved in the drink-
ing water flow. The water is conducted back to the cleaning tank via
the hoses at the drinking water and industrial water outlet, or via in-
ternal lines and valves.
I
nterim Storage and Distribu-
tion of Drinking Water
The conditioned water from the WTC 1600 is fed via a feed pump to
the two connected WBP 700 units and into a 4 m
3
drinking-water inte-
rim storage. The drinking-water interim storage is fitted with a venti-
lation system with installed sterile filter and an overflow valve. The
container is also fitted with two level indicators and regulators (mini-
mum and maximum). When the red and green control lamps are lit,
the minimum level is either fallen below or the maximum level is ex-
ceeded; otherwise, none of the lamps will light up.
The control system of the filling-level sensors also control the two
feed pumps and the WTC 1600 plant.
