WATERCLEAN 1600
Version 03/2008
OPERATION
- 47 -
NOTE
Forvertical operation of the pump, a minimum water depth of 75 cm
is required so that the pump does not get to the bottom and has suf-
ficient clearance to particles that have possibly deposited on the
ground. When the water clearance is lower, a pit or hole can be dug
out in which the water can collect. It is also possible to place the
pump horizontally into the untreated water, however, it must be
observed that a clearance is also given to the water surface and to
the bottom of the water so that drawing-in of undesirable materials is
avoided as far as possible.
2.
Connect the raw water hose to the coupling (31/1) of the pump.
3.
Insert the raw water pump into the raw water source and secure
to the shore using the safety cord.
4.
Insert plug of the cable into socket (32/1).

Concentrate Outlet
1.
Couple the hose for the concentrate return feed to the coupling
(33/1) on the connection panel.
2.
Unwind the hose to the raw water source and insert the outlet
into the raw water source.
NOTE
Conduct the concentrate into the raw water source
in such a manner that it will not be drawn in again
by the raw water inlet. For a river, e.g., in the down-
stream direction of flow. For other bodies of water,
with respective spatial clearance.
