If the drinking-water flow of 1 600 l/h is not reached or if the conduc-
tivity value of the drinking water exceeds the allowable limit values,
then the concentrate return line must definitely be shut.
When the operator knows parameters of the untreated water that are
important for operation, the concentrate return line can be opened or
shut in accordance with these values.

Switching on in Automatic Operation Mode
DANGER
When putting into operation for the first time, after
disinfecting, cleaning, preserving or applying anti-
freeze, reject the drinking water for at least 30 min-
utes, and after the system has stood still for
between 24 - 60 hours, reject for 15 minutes.

NOTE
If an emergency shut-off was performed, the con-
trol valve V06 is automatically opened. In the nor-
mal condition, the valve is open and the lamp
(49/14) lights up continuously.

Luminous button "Start" (49/11) illuminates.
NOTE
The indicator "Cleaning tank filling level too low"
on the operating panel has no influence on the
standard operation.

Turn "Program" selector switch (49/12) to position

"Automatic".

Press luminous "Start" button (49/11).

Lamp "Control valve V06 open" (49/14) goes out

"Automatic" is shown on the operating panel (49/7)

"Raw water pump ON" lamp (49/13) illuminates
NOTE
If the prefilter is empty (see 7./page 53) open prefil-
ter ball valve until water is coming out. Collect the
water with the measuring jug.
NOTE
When starting the operation of a system at a new
treatment location, it is possible that the system
switches to malfunction upon the first start ("pre-
cleaning intake pressure too low "), as the hoses
and filters have to fill up with water first. Simply
start the system again after the delay period
(approx. 5 min).
