11. Let the system sit for approx. 15 minutes to enable the concen-
tration on the inside to compensate.
12. Open valve V05 of the concentrate return line.
13. Shut valve V10.
14. Press the luminous "Start" button (72/11).

The operating panel (49/7) indicates "Maintenance-Disinfec-
tion/Anti-freeze" and then the time required for the anti-freeze
procedure.
NOTE
The actual value indicated on the display corresponds with the
time the process has been running.
WARNING
A back-flow of fluid into the cleaning tank must be detectable in
the drinking water or industrial water hose!
WARNING
If the temperature of the anti-freeze/preserving
solution is < 20 °C, then the procedure (work steps 4. -11.) must
be repeated (3 x max.) until a back-flow of fluid into the clean-
ing tank can be detected. The preserving chemical must not be
added until then.
15. Dissolve the preserving chemical in water in the measuring cup
according to Table 1, page 49.
16. After 20 minutes the operating panel (49/7) indicates
"Open V10 ".

17. Add the dissolved preserving chemical into the cleaning tank.
18. After the required time has elapsed, the high-pressure pump
switches off.
19. Turn the valve levers V12 (50/9) and V10 (50/7) into the vertical
position (close).
20. Open lid of both pre-filters
21. Evenly distribute the anti-freeze mixture of the cleaning tank into
both pre-filters.
• Fill a suitable receptacle on top of the GK connection (50/11);
open valve lever V15 (50/10) for this (horizontal position).
• Fill the pre-filter until the cleaning tank is empty; the pre-filter
bowls must be approx. half full.
22. Connect the drain hose at the GK connection (48/1) of the
RO armature and drain the pre-filter.
WARNING
Dispose of the chemical solution according to the
national regulations.
23. Open the cleaning tank and wash it out with drinking water to
remove any remaining chemical solution.
24. Make sure that all the water-conducting components of the sys-
tem that are not preserved, are emptied.
25. The steps described in chapter 3.5.5 have to be performed.
