Sensors are not linked The JUMO AQUIS touch S cannot
unambiguously assign the sen-
sors to specific inputs for digital
sensors. Possible causes:
•
Several sensors with JUMO
digiLine electronics of the
same kind that were not yet
been linked to the device were
connected simultaneously.
• Several inputs were config-
ured for digital sensors of the
same kind and show the status
"Installation".
Follow the instructions in the oper-
ating manual for startup of digital
sensors.
Sensors with JUMO digiLine elec-
tronics of the same kind must be
put into operation individually.
Sensors with JUMO digiLine elec-
tronics can only be linked to inputs
for digital sensors if the configura-
tion of the input matches the type
of sensor.
If "TAG check" is activated in the
configuration of an input for digital
sensors, the "Sensor TAG" must
match the "TAG number" in the
configuration of the JUMO dig-
iLine electronics to be linked.

"TAG check" is activated in the
configuration of the input for digi-
tal sensors concerned and the
"Sensor TAG" does not match the
"TAG number" in the configuration
of the JUMO digiLine electronics
to be linked.
No suitably configured input for
digital sensors is available for the
type of sensor (status "Installa-
tion").
The interface configuration of the
JUMO digiLine electronics con-
cerned does not match the inter-
face settings of the JUMO AQUIS
touch S (baud rate or data format)
Perform a manual bus scan (see
Chapter "Submenu for linking",
page 99).
The data of JUMO digiLine elec-
tronics required for linking do not
match any configured input for
digital sensors, because a sensor
with JUMO digiLine electronics
was replaced or removed from the
bus and incorrectly reconfigured
via the JUMO DSM software. Try to link the sensor with JUMO
digiLine electronics through a
manual bus scan (cf. Chapter
"Submenu for linking", page 99).
If this fails, check the settings of
the JUMO digiLine electronics
and of the corresponding input for
digital sensors. Identical type in-
formation must be set on both
sides. When the TAG test is acti-
vated, the
TAG number must be
identical on both sides.
