Removing the tongue release cylinder
1. Turn OFF the power and the air.
2. Remove air tube from joint
.
3. Loosen nut of the shaft of cylinder , and remove stud .
4. Tilt the machine head, loosen the screw of sensor installing metal
fitting , and remove sensor .
5. Remove thrust collar , and remove cylinder .
Installing the tongue release cylinder
1. Paying attention to the direction of cylinder
, enter it to cylinder
shaft , and fix with thrust collar .
2. Temporarily tighten sensor .
3. Assemble stud .
4. Insert the air tube.
5. Loosen setscrew
of tongue open/close arm , and tighten set-
screw of tongue open/close arm at the position where cylinder
is drawn by 1 mm from the place where it is fully moved back when
tongue
is pressed to the end in the direction of arrow mark (
a
).
6. Turn ON the power, and adjust so that sensor is turned ON when
tongue is pressed to the end in the direction of arrow mark (
a
)
while observing LED of sensor .
7. Adjust the installing dimension of sensor of tongue open/ close
cylinder to 29 mm from the edge.(Reference dimension)
o Assemble so that cylinder
s m o o t h l y m o v e s w i t h o u t
looseness.
o I n s e r t t h e a i r t u b e w i t h o u t
mistaking the direction of rear and
front.
o There is a detecting range of
sensor . Adjust the sensor so
that it is turned ON early when
tongue
is moved in the direction
of arrow mark (
a
), and still ON
when tongue is pressed to the
end.
