Removing the thread drawing cylinder
1. Remove the face plate. "Refer to (2) Disassembling and assembling
the face plate."
2. Remove screw of cylinder installing plate .
3. Remove thread guide lock nut , and remove rubber presser at
the top end of shaft and cap nut .
4. Remove cylinder nut , and remove cylinder installing plate .
Assembling the thread drawing cylinder
1. Insert cylinder installing plate
, and tighten cylinder nut . At this
time, be careful of the direction of joint .
2. Screw in thread guide lock nut , insert thread guide , and tighten
cap nut until it goes no further. Then tighten thread guide lock nut
, and fix thread guide . At this time, make the direction of thread
guide vertical to the installing plane of cylinder installing plate .
3. Install the cylinder unit to face plate with two screws . Adjust so
that thread guide passes the center of slot of face plate and the
opening amount of nipper is 1 to 3 mm when cylinder is ex-
panded or contracted.
4. Attach rubber presser and cap nut .
5. Connect the air tube, and install face plate . "Refer to (2) Disas-
sembling and assembling the face plate."
