Troubleshooting
Overview
The STERRAD
®
200 Sterilizer is a relatively trouble-free device, requiring only
routine maintenance and care in load preparation to help prevent system
cancellations.
WARNING! YOU MUST WEAR CHEMICAL RESISTANT LATEX,
PVC (VINYL), OR NITRILE GLOVES WHEN
REMOVING A LOAD AFTER A CYCLE
CANCELLATION.
Rebooting the System
Rebooting is used in certain troubleshooting procedures. When power is turned
off then back on, it causes the computer in the sterilizer to reload the software
control program automatically; this action “reboots” the sterilizer. (Rebooting is
used in certain troubleshooting procedures.) The display indicates sterilizer status
after power has been reapplied.
The Power ON-OFF switch is located on the service side of the sterilizer (this is
to the right as you face the input side of the sterilizer). If instructions indicate that
you should reboot the system, flip the switch to the OFF position. Wait a few
seconds for the system to completely power down, then flip the switch to the ON
position. The display indicates sterilizer status after power has been reapplied.
