This also applies if the motor is mounted to a gear unit or if the mechanical flange is smaller than
the calculated one. All torque data were also determined using cold plates. The size of the cold
plates was calculated according to chapter 8.2.4. Cooling plate.
If the ambient temperature exceeds 40 °C, the derating factor is automatically taken into account in
the calculations.
A cooling device or a fan is needed when applying the motors at an ambient temperature greater
than 80 °C.
