Powershift Gearbox - 4 Speed
Introduction
This section explains how the electrical system works when
the following gearbox functions are operated:
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears forward
Neutral
1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears reverse
Transmission dump
Park brake switch
The 4-speed powershift gearbox is controlled using
conventional relays. The relays at

are operated via the
column mounted gear and forward/reverse lever

transmission dump switch

or park brake switch

operate a relay at

. The contacts inside the relays energise
the gearbox mounted solenoid control valves

Diode ‘gates’

are also used as logic switches.
To access the relays and connectors it is necessary to
remove the front/steering console panel
