To minimise torsional stress on the chassis of the vehicle it is advisable to perform the installation in correspondence with a cross-

bar, especially in the case of high mass units.
Similarly, it must act for the installation of tanks, compressors, etc.; the distribution of weight must also be taken into account for

their placement (see Chapter 1.15 (

Page 11)). In all these applications, one should always provide a sufficient margin in their

height from the ground in relation to the use of the vehicle.
The holes to be drilled for the new arrangements should be made on the rib of the side member, according to the regulations

given in Chapter 2.2 (

Page 8) and taking care to use the existing holes as much as possible.
