CK1 Handheld Computer User’s Manual
The dial in connection is created. You are now ready to send
information between the PC and the CK1.
Configuring Null Modem Settings
For a null modem connection, you want to:
• create a null modem connection.
• configure the dial up connection to a CK1, where the PC
initiates communication with the CK1.
or
• configure the dial in connection from a CK1, where the CK1
initiates communication with the PC.
To create a null modem connection

Connect the serial dock (P/N 073665) to the PC using a null
modem cable, and place the CK1 in the dock. For help, see
the
CK1 Serial Dock Quick Start Guide
(P/N 073772).

On your PC, select
Start
>
Settings
>
Control Panel
, and
double click
Phone and Modem Options
. The Phone and
Modem Options dialog box appears.

Click the
Modems
tab.
