Sending the CK1 in for Service
If you send the CK1 in for service, it is your responsibility to
save the data and configuration. Intermec is responsible only for
ensuring that the keypad and other hardware features match the
original configuration when repairing or replacing your CK1.

and Support” on page viii.
Cleaning the Scanner Window and Screen
To keep the CK1 in good working order, you may need to
perform these minor maintenance tasks:
• Clean the scanner window.
• Clean the screen.
Clean the scanner window and screen as often as needed for the
environment in which you are using the CK1.
To clean the scanner window and screen

Press the
Power
key to turn off the CK1.

Use a solution of ammonia and water.

Dip a clean towel or rag in the ammonia solution and wring
out the excess solution. Wipe off the scanner window and
screen. Do not allow any abrasive material to touch these
surfaces.

Wipe dry.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the CK1. Opening
the unit will void the warranty and may cause damage to the
internal components.
