6.3.4.2. Batteriemanagementsystem BCS
Das Batteriemanagementsystem BCS ist nur mit
TFT-Steuerteil nutzbar.
Das Batteriemanagementsystem BCS besteht aus einer
Kontrolleinheit und max. 36 Sensoren für die Batterieb-
löcke, welche mit einem zweiadrigen BUS verbunden
werden. Mittels dieser Komponente werden die Block-
spannung und –temperatur überwacht und protokolliert.
Bei Erkennung eines defekten Blocks wird die Ladung
unterbrochen bzw. ein laufender Betriebsdauertest
abgebrochen. Des Weiteren sind die Funktionen des RIF 5
integriert

Jedes Steuerteil unterstützt nur ein BCS-Modul!

für die Funktionalitäten Fernschalter, Stromschleife
und potentialfreie Meldekontakte. Der Anschluss
T+/T- für einen Temperaturfühler entfällt bei dem BCS-
Modul.
Die Batterieüberwachung erfolgt mittels der Sensoren,
welche an die Klemmen B+ und B- angeschlossen wer-
den. Die einzelnen Sensoren registrieren Spannung und
Temperatur von jedem Batterieblock.
Defekte Batterieblöcke können über das TFT-Steuerteil
bzw. das BCS-Modul abgefragt werden. Ebenso wird der
Status an den LEDs des Sensors angezeigt.
Sobald eine Störung am Sensor erkannt wird erfolgt ein
Prüfbucheintrag und gegebenfalls wird die Ladung unter-
brochen oder ein laufender Betriebsdauertest abgebro-
chen.

6.3.4.2. Battery management system BCS
The battery management system BCS can only be
used with a TFT controller.
The battery management system consists of one control
unit and max. 36 sensors for the battery blocks, which are
connected to a two-core BUS. This component moni-
tors and logs the block voltage and temperature. Upon
detection of a defective block, the charging is interrupted
or any active battery duration test is stopped. In addition,
the functions of the RIF 5 are integrated.

Each controller supports only one BCS module!

for the functionality of remote switches, current
loop and potential-free signalling contacts. The
T+/T- connection for a temperature sensor is not present
on the BCS module.
The battery monitoring takes place via sensors that are
connected to terminals B+ and B-. The individual sensors
register the voltage and temperature of each battery
block.
Defective battery blocks can be queried via the TFT cont-
roller and/or the BCS module. The status is also indicated
by the LEDs of the sensor.
As soon as a fault is detected on the sensor, a logbook
entry is made and the charging is interrupted or any acti-
ve battery duration test stopped.
