2-13 Device Display Screen:
The inbuilt LCD allows you to view the device statuses and video channel(s). If the screen
becomes locked, press the up and right buttons at the same time on the unit to unlock the
screen. If the OLED does not turn on press the up & left buttons simultaneously.
2-13-1 Device Display Menu:
The OLED menu gives MRS-400 users an opportunity to view and change the parameters of the
device from the field without having to connect the device to a computer.
IMPORTANT:
please do not enter other parts of the menu either than
Summary and Video Inputs
unless you know exactly what settings you wish to change.

Summary:
Informs the user of the device firmware version, device ID, the Server IP,
modem
settings (APN, username, password),
the IP of the SIM card in use, and the how long the
device has been activated.

Identification:
allows the user to view and change the ID number, name and password of
the device.

Connection:
The user can view and change the modem parameters: user name, password,
server location (local/remote), server IP address, network APN, Dial string and
authentication.

Video Inputs:
Shows the video channels in action, this feature is useful for determining
whether the video interface is operational, if you are able to watch the video clearly on the
LCD screen and yet, it shows a black screen or suffers from disturbances in the MRS monitor,
it means that the problem is with the cellular/LAN connection.

Maintenance:
This menu gathers different hardware tests and logs. The only relevant
features are the
External config
from which you can upload or download the parameters of
your device. The
program file
allows the user to download the firmware from a Disk-on-key
unit that holds the MRS_BlackfinDeviceSystem.ldr file.

GPS:
Allows the user to view the location parameters and enable or disable the GPS feature.

Storage:
The menu features allow the user to format the storage device (micro SD or
portable hard-drive), test its speed and plug or unplug it from the MRS-400.
