7 Warning and error messages
During operation, the display shows information that helps you operate the instrument.
Measurement values are displayed along with current unit modes, operating
instructions as well as warnings and error messages. The instrument is equipped with
extensive self-diagnostic functions. If the electronics detect a faulty state, the device
will show this as far as possible on the display and will interrupt operation.
Warnings
Warnings warn of instrument modes that can impair the accuracy of measurements.
To perform measurements, confirm active warnings with the “Clear” button.
Error messages
Errors are events that force the interruption of the operation. The error message
consists of a number and a descriptive text. Once you have found the cause for the
error continue operation by pressing the button "Clear".
