8.5.3.2 Before Turning Off the Carrier Gas
The internal carrier gas cylinder carries sufficient gas for 35 to 40 hours, under
typical operating conditions. Leave the carrier gas
ON
between analyses to protect
the column(s) and detector(s).
If it is necessary to turn off the carrier gas between analyses, refer to
for instructions on shutting down 3000 Micro GC.
CAUTION
Abruptly stopping the carrier gas flow to a hot column
and filament may result in damage to Portable
3000 Micro GC.
