3000 Micro GC Operating Manual

Disconnect the inlet manifold fitting from the GC module input fitting using a 
1/4 in. open-ended wrench. See 

Figure 8-13

.

Disconnect the communication cables leading from the GC modules, if present, 
to the communications board connectors for the GC modules. If necessary, 
disconnect the fan power cables. See

Tilt the back of the GC module up until the mounting flange clears the alignment 
pins. Slide the GC module towards the back of the chassis until it clears the 
inlet manifold frame and can be angled and removed from the front. See

CAUTION

Be sure to lift and remove the GC module from the front 
end of the GC to avoid damage to the sample pumps in 
the rear. Also, be careful to avoid damaging any nearby 
wires or cables.
