Creating an LUT Using Microsoft Excel
The LUT file can be created in Excel as follows:
1.
Create the spreadsheet as shown below (note that 4096 rows are required in the table).
2.
Add the necessary equations into the output cells to generate the transfer function required.
3.
Save the file as a .csv (comma delimited format).
4.
Rename the .csv file to an extension of .lut.
