g) use the distributor lever (fig. 4.5.3), after connecting the distributor to the
hydraulic system (through quick couplings to the tractor or through a
diesel or petrol engine etc.) lift the machine (lower the wheels and
drawbar lifter foot/feet) so that the turntable holder does not touch the
ground and rotate the turntable by 360° (either clockwise or anti-
clockwise) to ensure the turntable/holder turn centred and that there are
no points where the crown gear forces the pinion of the hydraulic motor.
IF THE CROWN GEAR FORCES THE PINION OF THE HYDRAULIC
MOTOR, THE MACHINE MUST BE LOWERED AGAIN, SO THAT THE
TURNTABLE HOLDER TOUCHES THE GROUND, LOOSEN THE
NUTS FIXING THE TURNTABLE TO THE FRAME AND USE AN IRON
POLE TO TRY AND MOVE THE TURNTABLE; ONCE THE
TURNTABLE HAS BEEN MOVED, TIGHTEN THE SCREWS AGAIN
AND TRY ROTATING AGAIN (SEE PARAGRAPH 4.5.3.2.e - 4.5.3.2.g)
h) After checking the whole, check tightening of the screws of the turntable
and hydraulic motor again.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE MACHINE USER, AFTER
PERFORMING 3-4 IRRIGATIONS, TO CHECK THAT THE SCREWS
AND NUTS OF THE TURNTABLE AND HYDRAULIC MOTOR ARE NOT
LOOSENED; IF SO TIGHTEN THE SCREWS.
5.4 SPADE ASSEMBLY:
For most cases, the spades (U) are already mounted on the machine; should they not be
mounted they must be prepared (U) inserted and fixed with screws and self-locking nut on
the extension (V) (fig. 4.5.21 – 4.5.22). It is very important to know that spades are not all
the same for all the machine models, that is why the protruding part of the spade must
always be placed outwards (fig. 4.5.23);
