Finally, mount the wheels and fix them with the appropriate nuts (fig. 4.5.5), lifting the support (A),
operating the distributor lever, after connecting the distributor to the hydraulic system (through
quick couplings to the tractor or through a diesel or petrol engine etc.).

5.2   ASSEMBLY  OF  THE  DRAWBAR,  EYE,  BOOM  FEET  (WHERE  PRESENT)  AND

DRAWBAR LIFTER FOOT/FEET:
In most cases the drawbar, the boom feet (where present) and eye as well are delivered
assembled  on  the  machine.  Should  they  be  disassembled  due  to  transport  reasons,
assemble them as follows:

1)  use  a  sling  and  forklift  truck,  crane  or  hoist,  and  lift  the  drawbar  (M)  to  move  it

near the plates or plate of the base (see arrows fig. 4.5.6 - 4.5.7), in order to be
able to fix it to the frame with screws, washer, Grover and nuts (fig. 4.5.6 - 4.5.7);

2)  prepare the eye (N) and fix it with pins and cotters in the preferred position (fig.

4.5.6 - 4.5.7 – 4.5.7 – 4.5.9);

3)  mount the boom feet (where present), adjust the required height and block them

with pin and cotter (fig. 4.5.10);

4)  The drawbar lifter foot/feet (O) and the compressor (P) (if any) are almost always

already  mounted  on  the  drawbar,  as  they  are  connected  to  the  machine’s
hydraulic  and  water  system;  if  they  are  disassembled,  the  foot  and  the
compressor  must  be  moved  near  the  coupling  on  the  drawbar  and  fixed  with
screws,  washers,  Grover  and  nuts  to  the  plate  on  the  drawbar  (see  arrows  fig.
4.5.11  –  4.5.12)  as  well  as  connecting  to  the  foot  the  oil  pipes  of  the  hydraulic
system (see arrows fig. 4.5.11).
