When the card has been completely removed, click
“OK”.

When prompted to restart the computer, click “No”.
Shut down Windows and turn off the computer if neces-
sary. Remove the IBM International ISDN PC Card from
the PCMCIA slot.
This completes the removal of the adapter.
12.3 Removing the ISDN PC Card from
Windows 2000 Professional
The following section assumes that you are logged on to a
Windows 2000 Professional system as Administrator. If you
are not logged on as Administrator, you may not be able to
perform all the steps outlined in this chapter.
1.
Leave the IBM International ISDN PC Card in the PCMCIA
slot. Disconnect the card’s ISDN cable from the ISDN
line.
2.
Click “Start / Settings / Control Panel” to open the Con-
trol Panel.
3.
Double-click the ”Add/Remove Hardware” icon.
4.
When the ”Add/Remove Hardware Wizard” starts, click
“Next”.
5.
In the “Choose a Hardware Task” dialog, select the op-
tion “Uninstall/Unplug a device”, then click “Next”.
In the subsequent window click “Uninstall a device”
and then “Next”.
