Exchange the module.
Ÿ
Insert the new module into the machine.
– Position the latches, then slide the
module into its location.
– Secure the module by locking the
latches, then tighten the screws on the
latches.

Check that the module LED is green after
completion of the Power ON Self Test
(POST). If not, check the module plugging
and if the problem persists call the
Network Support Center. Otherwise
continue with the next bullet.
Ÿ
If you have removed any cables:
Important
Cable connectors can be damaged
when installing cables on switch or
switch redrive module. Maintain the
cables firmly while installing the cables
from the connectors to avoid any effort
which can damage the connectors.
– Carefully connect the cables.
– Tighten the connector screws (tighten
them progressively and alternatively on
top and bottom).

modules installed on your machine go to

Redrive” on page 6-71. Otherwise go to
“Ending the Exchange Procedure” on
page 6-75.
