Exchange a DC48 Power Input
Important
The DC48 exchange procedure is documented with the illustrations DC48 type B, but the procedure is
identical for DC48 types A and B.
The differences between DC48 type A and B are shown in “Identify the DC48 Power Type” on
page 6-20.

Locate the DC48 that you have to
exchange using “2220 Front View in 37 U
Rack” on page 6-15.
Ÿ
At the front of the machine, on the DC48
that you want to exchange, switch the
main CB OFF.

At the rear of the machine, remove the
cables in the following order:
1. DC cable from DC plug

2. DC cable from the J2 connector

3. Signal cable from the J4 connector

4. Control panel cable from the J3
connector

Disconnect the earth strap from the DC48

Remove the two screws that secure the
DC48

At the front of the machine, remove the
screws

bracket.

Remove the screws
