Exchange a DCD1 or DCD2

At the rear of the machine, loosen the two
screws

.A/

that secure the cover, and

remove the cover.

Locate the DCDx that you have to
exchange, using “2220 Rear View in 37 U
Rack” on page 6-16.

Locate the associated ACDC or DC48 power
supply attached to the defective DCDx.

Switch the main CB OFF on the associated
ACDC or DC48 power supply.

ACDC

DC48

Remove the DCDx cable from the associated
power supply (Connector J2)

Remove the cable from the top of the
DCDx module that you want exchange.

Unscrew the knob and pull out the DCDx
module.

Unscrew the screws

lower cable retainer in order to be able to
take out the DCDx cable.
