. IRISDocument allows you to perform OCR (Optical Character
Recognition) on your scanned documents, enhance and hyper-
compress them and convert them into a wide range of text-
searchable output formats. Supported formats include PDF, hyper-
compressed PDF, PDF/A, XPS, hyper-compressed XPS, RTF,
XML, HTML, etc.
Different types of
connectors
are available in IRISPowerscan and
can be used on their own, or in combination with the service. Which
connector is best suited for you depends on your processing needs.

Tip
:
The processing is launched by the user each time a batch is ready for
processing (i.e. when the user has checked that everything is fine in the batch.
