Disassembly

Apply pressure on cap(4) with a press.
The spring is under a large installed load.
This is dangerous, so be sure to set
properly.

Â

Spring set load : 2700kg(6000lb)

Remove split pin(6) and nut(5).
Take enough notice so that the press
which pushes down the spring, should
not be slipped out in its operation.
Lighten the press load slowly and
remove cap(4) and spring(3).
