2. Remove the terminal box cover.
Connect all electrical flex conduit to the
terminal box. A 1” X 90° connector (D) has
been provided to assist with the installation if
the previous connector was a straight
requiring additional length.
If the hole is oversized for the connector, use
the reduction washers (E) with the 1”
connector.

Wiring Installation in a Plastic Terminal Box
1. If the compressor being used has a plastic terminal box, use a sharp knife to
scribe completely around the the electrical knock-outs that will be used for
connecting the electrical flex conduit.
(See figure 15) Use a hammer and screw
driver to tap around the scribed area and knock out the hole. (See figure 16 )
IMPORTANT : DO NOT TRY AND KNOCK OUT ANY HOLES WITH
THE TERMINAL BOX COVER REMOVED OR THE
BOX COULD BE DAMAGED. BE SURE TO KNOCK
OUT ALL HOLES WITH THE COVER IN PLACE.
