6. When an oil float regulator is required, follow the below steps to install
these controls. If the compressor is not free of oil, tilt compressor away
from sight glass. Remove sight glass and install oil float adapter (
K ) using
IR compressor sight glass bolts and the new o-ring ( H ).
7. Install oil float to the oil float adapter using the 1/4-20x1”
bolts ( J ) and nuts ( I ) using a new o-ring ( H ).

8. Install the Copeland discharge valve
using the M10x40 bolts ( E ) provided
in the kit.
Hand tighten any discharge line
connectors and the M10x40 discharge
valve bolts. After all the bolts have
been started by hand, the bolts can be
secured evenly.
9. It is also acceptable to use the front
flange to mount the discharge line.
In some cases the OEM prefers to use
the front mounting boss with a ball valve
and Roto-Lock connector (as shown in
figure 10) or a Roto- Lock service valve
(not Shown).
Remove the blank off plate and connect
the discharge flange in this position using
Bolts (E) provided in the kit. Remove the
service valve and place the blank off
plate in the position of the service valve
using the existing bolts.
