For systems with HCFC refrigerants and high thermal loads (heat recovery, heat
pumps, low temperature, cooling near the limits of application) only the original
filling of Ingersoll Rand MO 32 mineral oil should be used
Compressor Retrofit
When replacing another manufacturer’s compressor with an Ingersoll Rand Impact

compressor, lubricant compatibility must be investigated. If the lubricant in the system is
listed in the Lubrication Table, lost lubricant may be replaced with that lubricant. If the
lubricant in the system is not listed, it is recommended that the lubricant be replaced with
one on the list or contact Hussmann Global Engineering for further guidance. Consult
the retrofit section of this manual for proper retrofit procedures.
