NOTE:
To stop an instance, wait for the seconds specified in the aws.checkInstanceDisabledInterval
property that indicates the interval for checking the completion of stopping an instance, and then repeat
the number of times specified in the aws.checkInstanceDisabledCount property that indicates how many
checks are performed for the completion of stopping the instance. If necessary, modify the property
values based on your environment.
Server requirements
• AWS control server (execution-target server)
The server on which AWS Tools for Windows PowerShell (referred to as "AWS Tools") is installed. This
product can forward plug-ins to run on the server.
• Instance
A regular virtual server in an Amazon EC2 environment.
Prerequisites
To run this service, the target server must be set up as an agentless connection destination. If you use a
local server as the target server, you must specify a loopback address that can be resolved by "localhost".
Usage guidelines
• If you run this service, data being edited by the instance is not saved.
• An instance is stopped even if a user logs in to the instance.
