Switching Power On

Press the POWER key to switch aurora

Tempo 

on. When you

switch power on, aurora

Tempo 

carries out a comprehensive self-

test of internal memory and I/O devices, displaying the
results as they occur. The self-test normally completes
satisfactorily  and aurora

Tempo 

displays the splash screen.

Note

If the self-test does not complete satisfactorily, try
switching the power off and on again. If the problem
persists, contact Hewlett Packard.

The splash screen displays information about the interfaces
fitted and the software version number. Press any key to exit
from the splash screen and display the aurora

Tempo 

main

display. The splash screen is automatically exited after 5
seconds if no keys are pressed.

The Main Display & Menu

The main display shows what is currently assigned to each
interface and the current software version number.

The 

Main Menu

 is displayed automatically when you first

power-on aurora

Tempo

. This menu lets you choose an interface

with which to work, configure an interface, access the File
Manager function and display status information.
