You can add a parity bit to the transmitted data to suit the
device you are connected to.

Choose

Parity

to display a sub-menu of parity bit

options.

•

Highlight the appropriate option and press ENTER to
save your selection and exit the sub-menu. The parity
options are as follows :

None

No parity bit is included in the
transmitted data.

Odd

An odd parity bit is included in the
transmitted data.

Even

An even parity bit is included in the
transmitted data.

Including stop bits

You can choose to transmit either 1 or 2 stop bits.

You can switch the flow control protocol on or off.
