Logging in to the device through the console port
Log in to the device through the console port after you finish all the preparation tasks and read all the
ISSU guidelines.
If you use Telnet or SSH, you might be disconnected from the device before the ISSU is completed.
Saving the running configuration
Use the
save
command to save the running configuration.
Performing an ISSU by using issu commands
Perform this task only on a multichassis IRF fabric.
Always start ISSU with a subordinate member.
