Complete all procedures in step

2.
Lay the container on its front with the pulley facing upwards.
3.
Undo the bolt in the centre of the pulley and lift it off. You may need an extractor, but
they usually come off easily.
4.
Cover the exposed end of the shaft with a piece of wood and hit it with a hammer,
this should free it from the bearings. The wood is to prevent damaging the shaft.
5.
Undo the 16 self cutting screws around the centre of the container.
6.
Lever off the top half of the container, be careful not to damage the seal between the
two halves.
7.
The inner drum should just fall out.
(20a) Inner drum………
Fitting
1.
Stand the inner drum on end with the drum support facing up, and lower the rear half
of the container onto it.
2.
Push down as hard as possible then fit the pulley on the spigot.
3.
Fit washer and bolt then tighten.
4.
It is advisable to replace the seal in between the two halves of the container with the
joint at the top, but failing that, a good smearing of silicon sealant over the seal
should do the trick.
5.
Turn container over and fit front half. (The two halves of the container can really only
fit together one way).
6.
Fit the self tapping bolts in a regimented formation, 12 o’clock.6 o’clock. 9 o’clock,
then 3 o’clock. Tighten them gradually to pull the two halves together. After which
point just put the remaining bolts in wherever you want. Do not over tighten them as
this may strip the thread in the container or warp the drum slightly.
