Fill Valves Dead
The pressure switch controls the fill valves, and in some cases will prevent the motor
from going into spin. It operates via an internal diaphragm which activates and
deactivates the internal switch/s. This diaphragm is controlled by the Pressure Chamber
and the small bore hose connecting both. There is also a flood level switch that operates
if the water level gets too high
.
If the pressure switch does not reset the door lock will stay activated, even if the drum
is empty.
If the flood level contacts are made the pump will come on and stay on until the
switch resets.
If the pressure switch is at all suspect then change it, do not attempt a repair on this
component.
