8.1.4 Trap rollers
Once the grain exits the Barrel, it is immediately picked up by the trap roller and
pushed gently into the ground.
The grain can now no longer jump out of position. Damage to the trap roller should
therefore always be avoided.

NOTE
Ø
Never work without trap roller!
Serious drilling errors may occur if the grains are not pressed against the soil
by the trap roller!
Ø Check the position and function of the trap rollers regularly.
Wear
When new, the trap roller runs with the lowest setting (approx. 5 cm lower than the
coulter discs). As the coulter discs wear off, this distance diminishes and needs to be
re-adjusted.
Ø When the coulter discs are worn, move the trap rollers to the corresponding
position, depending on the diameter of the coulter discs, see section
