CPU Reset
The user can reset the S7999B and force a power-up by
selecting the “CPU Reset” button. A pop-up dialog box
confirming the reset request displays (Fig. 122) before the
reset proceeds.

User Preferences
The user can configure the S7999B burner/boiler system
mode and network type (Local Modbus™, System Modbus™,
and S7810M Modbus™). Configuration selection must be
saved to flash and the S7999B reset for the change to take
effect.
Selecting the “User Preferences” button displays a page (Fig.
123) with options that the user can turn on (black dot) or turn
off (no black dot). Some options are grayed out or don’t
appear if they don’t apply, based on other options selected.

CONFIGURATION TAB
The user can configure:
• Installation Type: burner or boiler. This selection will
determine the image displayed on the home page as well
as the title (“Burner’ or “Boiler”) on pages and buttons. This
selection also determines the description shown on the
System S7999B.
• Configuration Type: Single boiler system (Local Mode),
Monitor ALL local boiler systems (System Mode), or
Selective boiler system (Switchable Mode).
COM 1 TAB
The user can configure the COM 1 port for one of the
following interfaces (see Fig. 124):
• Fuel/Air Control configuration (ControLinks™ commissioning).
• System S7999B connection.
• Not used.
• The Modbus™ address to use on the System Modbus™
network (enabled for Local S7999B mode only).
