betreffenden Bits im Steuerungs-Register prüft.
ADRESSEN-DEKODIERUNG FÜR CI B.
Die Chip-Freigabe für CI B wird von der Adressen-Dekodierung CI A erzeugt, dies ermöglicht dem CPU, mit CI B zu kommunizieren
und ähnliche auf bedingten Zugriff (CA) bezogene Tätigkeiten auszuführen wie CI A. Die Verbindungen mit dem Daten- und
Adressbus sind beiden Geräten gemeinsam.
Der CI A Chip stellt auch die Ausgänge für Adressen-Abbildungs-Chip-Auswahl für IEEE1394 und die externen CPU DRAM
Möglichkeiten, die gegenwärtig in der Flachbaugruppen-Version nicht unterstützt werden.
Dieses Adressen-Abbild wird im Speicher-Abbild im CPU-Abschnitt genauer dargestellt (weiter unten).
CI MODUL SPANNUNGS-AUSWAHL.
Diese Ausgangs-Stifte steuern die Einstellung der erforderlichen Spannungen für die Vcc und Vpp Leitungen für die gemeinsame
Schnittstellen-Buchse. Der eingestellte Wert hängt ab von den ‘VS’ Stiften der Modul-Schnittstelle und der Konfigurations-
Information des CI Moduls, falls eingefügt, und die Information wird in den Bits 2 und 3 des Status-Registers wiedergegeben. Die
Werte, mit denen die integrierten Schaltkreise für Stromversorgung gesteuert werden (IC401, IC403), werden in den Bits 0 - 3 des
Steuerungs-Register 0 gespeichert. IC401 für CI A und IC403 für CI B schalten die tatsächliche Spannung von den 5V und 3V3
Stromversorgungen. IC401 und IC403 steuern den Überlaststrom intern und die Schaltzeit für diese Stromversorgungen.
FREQUENZ-AUSWAHL-LEITUNGEN FÜR DIE PLL IN VERBINDUNG MIT REV C
64108 CPU/DEMUX CHIPS.
CI A benutzt drei ausgewählte Leitungen, um die Abtast-Frequenz der Audio PLL einzustellen (Bits 0 - 2 des Konfigurations-
Registers).
JTAG TEST-FÄHIGKEIT
Die CI Chips haben JTAG Test-Fähigkeit. Sie sind konfiguriert als Teil eines Testsystems mit ‘einer Schleife’ oder ‘zwei Schleifen’
mit anderen Chips auf der Flachbaugruppe, näheres dazu im ‘JTAG Test’ Abschnitt (Abschnitt 2.6 weiter unten).
HAUPT-SYSTEM-CPU / MPEG-ENTMULTIPLEXOR (IC200 / L64108)
ALLGEMEINES
Dieser integrierte Schaltkreis übt vier Hauptfunktionen im System aus:

Haupt-System-CPU
•
Einrasten der ankommenden Daten auf den Haupt-System-Taktgeber und Erzeugung des internen 54MHz Taktgebers
durch PLL
•
Transportstrom-Entmultiplexierung und SI Dekodierung
•
Paket-Dekodierung und AV-Daten-Übertragung an den AV-Chip
•
Trennung der PES Ströme für die Ausgabe an die IEEE1394 Schnittstelle (für eventuelle zukünftige Verwendung)
CPU FUNKTIONEN

Der System-CPU arbeitet intern in 32 Bit Betriebsart bei einer Taktgeber-Geschwindigkeit von 54MHz, aber mit einem externen 16
Bit Datenübertragungsweg (E-BUS) und einem Speicherbereich, der von 24 Adress-Leitungen abgebildet wird, die mit 27MHz
arbeiten. Seine Hauptfunktion ist die Wartung des Software-Programm-Flusses, um alle Geräte zu steuern, die für die Funktionalität
des digitalen Empfängers benötigt werden. Er hat interne Cache-Speicher, um die Verarbeitung zu beschleunigen, und benutzt
externen EDO DRAM (2MB) für den Haupt-Verarbeitungs-Arbeitsbereich. Platz für bis zu 4MB Flash Speicher wurde ebenso
eingeplant wie für zwei 1M x 16 Bit Chips. Der Programm-Start wird durch die hauptsächliche ‘Netz Ein-Grundstellung’ initiiert.
Um diese Funktion auszuüben und die Ressourcen des Systems anzuwenden, ist folgendes erforderlich:

Kommunikation mit anderen Geräten
•
Asynchrone serielle Kommunikation mit Hilfe der RS232 Leistungsprozedur – die UARTs auf der Schaltplatte werden
benutzt, um mit dem Modem und dem externen RS232 Pegelkonverter auf der Eingangs-COFDM-Flachbaugruppe über
PL200 zu kommunizieren und mit dem Benutzer-Prozessor durch die Interprozessor-Verbindung (IPL) auf PL203. Der
Betrieb der IPL basiert auf einer ‘Mitteilung-und-Antwort’ Leistungsprozedur, wobei der Benutzer-Prozessor unter
normalen Umständen der Hauptbediener ist.

Programmierungs-Anschluss für die integrierten CI Regler Schaltkreise (CI A und CI B) – dies benutzt die Stifte (SC1x),
die normalerweise dem integrierten Schaltkreis für den zweiten Chipkarten-Treiber zugeordnet sind, mit Taktgeber,
Daten, Bestätigung, Freigabe und Status-Leitungen.

I2C – der CPU hat ein integriertes Anschlussgerät, das für den I2C Bus als Hauptbediener für alle Geräte auf dem
digitalen Abschnitt wirkt, nämlich:

Video-Encoder auf der MPEG Flachbaugruppe

Tuner auf der COFDM Flachbaugruppe
•
Integrierter COFDM Schaltkreis auf der COFDM Flachbaugruppe
