dialling prefix
Your television may be situated in a place where it use
and viewing is communal - offices, schools or shops, for
example. If this is its environment your prefix (the
number dialled to obtain access to an external telephone
line) needs to be ENABLED. Use the right/left buttons to
adjust value and see ‘prefix number’ below.
NOTE: The dialling prefix is automatically set to DISABLE. If the
television is in a family home, this
option and the next can be ignored.

For those television may be situated in a
place where it use and viewing is communal -
offices, factorys or shops, for example - the
prefix number needs to be adjusted to
accommodate that of the normal phonelines of
your office, factory or shop.
This number can be adjusted using the ‘0’ to
‘9’ buttons on your handset.

dialling mode
The dialling mode requires you to inform the
modem of what type of phone line you use.
Pick up and listen to sound coming from your
phone. If if it continuous then the value to
choose is TONE. If the sound is intermittent,
(on - off - on - off) then set the value to
PULSE.
When selected this option can be adjusted using
the left/right buttons.
