SAMPLES/SCAN:
The value of the Samples per Scan controls the number of 32-bit samples that will
be used to construct the digital waveform. In order to prevent aliasing the User should always calculate
the required sampling value. The minimum number of samples per scan is a function of the time
range(s) and the pulse width(s)* of the antenna(s) being used. The minimum value should always be
greater than or equal to:
Time Range(ns)
Antenna Pulse Width(ns) x 10 = Minimum number of Samples Per Scan
The values available to the User are 256, 512, 1024, and 2048, 4096, 8192, and 16,384 99 (See Figure 38
below).
Note:
Setting this number too high (oversampling) will result in un-necessarily large files and a lower
maximum scan rate.
