Please write down your license key before you deactivate and later on update Repetier-Server.
To finally update the Repetier-Server simply select Check for Updates. Please follow the instructions dis-
played in your browser.
After the installation is completed you have to activate your license again. Go back to the previously
described menu and hit
Activate License and enter your license-code.
12.3 Import Printer-Configuration
In rare cases the configuration file of your 3D printed gets corrupted after updating Repetier-Server.
In that case, you first need to download the XML-file of your 3D printer and unpack it afterwards. The
XML can be found on
www.germanreprap.com
.
Please use Repetier-Server to upload your fresh XML-file.
Please note:
The following steps will delete all your uploaded G-Code files from the Repetier-Server.
You can download print files you want to keep from you existing system.
Therefore please read : 7.11 G-Code Download
Please write down name of your 3D printer displayed in the Repetier-Server before proceeding.
Afterwards click the gear-symbol and choose
Remove Printer
.
For finally uploading click on
Upload Printer Configuration
and type in the name of your 3D printer. After
that select the previously downloaded and unpacked file and your printer gets re-configured.
